GIVEAWAY! Book Review: One God, One Plan, One Life by Max Lucado

Finding a devotional for teenagers is a bit of a challenge in our house.  I have to find something accurate, and yet my kids have to like it.  One God, One Plan, One Life by Max Lucado is definitely accurate and enjoyable.

Max Lucado - One God, One Plan, One Life review

The book includes a one page devotional thought for each day of the year, quoting one Bible verse and then providing food for thought written in Max’s typical style, and written for teens.  It is very short, sweet, and simple to read and complete daily.  Each page ends with “One Final Thought” which gives your teen something to take with them and think about throughout the day.

Life comes at us, too, with a fury of flying fists: right hook of rejection, sucker punch of loss.  It’s a slugfest out there.  We too need a counterbalance.  It turns out we have one.  Not a piece of iron, but a deeply felt faith in God’s power and authority.

My Bottom Line:  I enjoy Max Lucado’s style.  I believe this book includes very good, short daily devotionals your teen will enjoy.
