Children have a tough time figuring out how to handle their emotions don’t they? Tiny babies really have no concept of emotion, but as a child grows older they begin to recognize intensities of emotion in themselves. As they begin to experience sadness, happiness, and everything in between they need coaching and help to figure out how those emotions fit into their life. It is important that we talk to our children about how to deal with his emotions in healthy ways.
You can use these free LEGO printables to start a dialogue about emotions when a child’s emotions start to get out of hand. Pull out some minifigures with similar expressions, and talk it out. You could also use these free LEGO printables as a springboard to teach a unit study about emotions to your child, adding books and other activities.
I have put all of these pages into one ebook this week — seven pages in all. Just click on the image above to open and download your ebook.
If you would like to add books and fun activities to your study of emotions, here are some to get you started!
